One North Carolina Fund Grant Helps West Pharmaceutical Services Expand in Kinston
(Kinston)—West Pharmaceuticals will expand its production plant in Kinston, the first growth at an operation destroyed by fire in 2003 and rebuilt the following year. In an announcement made Friday, West Pharmaceuticals Chairman and Chief Executive Donald Morel said the firm would invest $18.7 in the plant over the next three years. Read more...

Commerce Overseas Corporation Moving to Global TransPark
(Kinston)—North Carolina Governor Mike Easley today announced that Commerce Overseas Corporation (COC), a leading military aviation parts manufacturer and supplier, will move its headquarters from California to the North Carolina Global TransPark (GTP).
